We are dedicated to delivering the kind of care services we would want for our own loved ones. We are a community-focussed team and are passionate about looking after our local residents throughout Runcorn and Widnes.
We put people before profit, we take an innovative approach to care that’s highly personalised whilst maintaining professional standards.
Our motto is Your Care, Your Choice – (we believe if you need a care service you should be able to tailor it to suit your needs).
HDP clarifies the wishes and choices of our clients and ensures this is reflected in the support provided. HDP also provides ongoing safeguarding review service.
HDP provides full, real choice for people in accessing their care, which is under pinned by an effective ongoing safeguarding review service that we provide in partnership with local authority partners.
Although HDP has limited resources, we do provide advice, support and help with welfare rights queries, and if we are unable to help, we can signpost clients to commissioned welfare rights services such as Citizens Advice.
Power or Attorney registration can be a very powerful tool to support vulnerable people. Unfortunately, the forms can be complex and intimidating, and expensive if a solicitor is used. For a small donation, HDP will help people successfully complete the POA application forms.
HDP provides personal assistant (PA) support for clients who face mental health challenges. We prioritize monitoring, support and advice for clients: and we seek to enhance people’s quality of life e.g. education, employment and general social inclusion.
HDP is able to support families with children who need support. Children who receive a personal budget through the local authority are able to access a designated personal assistant to work alongside them and their families to enhance their life choices and social inclusion.
Personal Assistant (PA) roles are varied,
challenging, and rewarding. Every day is different,
but you will always be supporting your client, a
disabled person, to lead the life that they choose.
